Looking for the title of a 1970’s movie about teenage heroin addicts. The final scene took place on a train.
At the end of the movie there is a statement on the screen that reads.
“This film was based on a diary found in an abandoned apartment in New York City.”

Thank you for your response but that’s not it. The movie I’ve been trying to find for years kind of reminds me of the movie “Streets” with Christina Applegate. It’s about 2 teenage drug addicts. The movie has to be obsolete because no one can find it. The statement at the end of the movie is all I remember, except for the final scene taking place on a train in NYC.
