I saw this film in elementary school in the late 1960s early 1970s. It’s narrated by the son of a family that travels across the Oregon Trail. The one scene that I remember for sure. During a raging thunderstorm, as the father tries to get their covered wagon up a small hill. He takes the family organ and throws it off the wagon and it goes crashing down the hill. He tells his wife that he had to because it was killing their horses/oxen. Need the name of the film.
thank you
