First of all, I don’t know if this film really exists. The plot is described in Croatian film “Živjeti od ljubavi” from 1973, so this film should be from that year or older, where one of the characters watches (off-screen) the film in question and describes the film to a friend.
The described film:
– the two main characters are young man and woman (students) who fall in love with each other
– the guy is much richer than the girl (or vice versa) and his family is against their relationship
– at the end, the girl becomes sick and (I think) dies, while he is besides hear deathbed
