Not sure if this was from a movie or a TV show.
Saw some time in 1990s.
Scene: Hospital room. Middle aged man visiting elderly woman (pretty sure his mother). She’s dying. Man gives her overdose of pills. Presumably she dies.
Next scene: Long hallway in hospital. Man is alone, waiting at elevator. Looks back up hallway to mother’s room. Wheelchair emerges from room, being pushed by no one, with mother’s dead body wrapped in heavy plastic. Wheelchair slowly turns toward man. Switch to camera from wheelchair perspective, looking at man. Begin zooming quickly toward him. Man frantically pushes elevator button. Elevator arrives just in time for man to escape. Cut to inside elevator. Man turns around to discover wheelchair and corpse are inside elevator. Man begins to unwrap plastic.
Any idea what this is from?
Sounds like “The Woman in the Room” which I think was Frank Darabont’s first student movie. It was based on a Stephen King short story.
