I’m looking for a movie i saw 15-20 years ago but never finished. Bare with since some of the details might not be correct. It’s about a married male cop with children. He has an affair with a woman. He convinces the mistress that the only way for them to be together is if she kills his wife. The mistress shoots the wife in a garage. Takes over her life and one day while cooking the phone rings but there’s nobody there. The now “ex-mistress wife” thinks the husband has got a new mistress and she’s afraid he will do it all over again and have her killed.
I’m remembering the husband looking a little bit like Eddie Cibrian.
