Need a Lifetime Movie expert!

I can’t remember what movie this is. I believe it was a Lifetime movie or at least made for tv back in the late 80’s early 90’s. All I can remember is the ending. The woman was out of jail on a work furlough or something like that. She didn’t report back to jail so they came to get her and she was gone. 3 days later she showed up at a strangers door looking disheveled and died. The movie ends with them saying they still don’t know what happened in those 3 days.
