It’s a war-drama movie where soldiers are fighting in a tropical country (possibly Vietnam). They go through a tunnel into a field or sth where they are trapped by the enemy.
They start figuring out why they want to go home as they begin to fight each other over an escape strategy. One soldier in particular thinks of his son all the time and has photographs of them together.
The soldiers disappear one-by-one. Black figures appear every now and then. One soldier manages to return to the tunnel where he finds their dead bodies and figures out they were actually dead and the black figures were angels (or ghosts).
The movie is high quality and colored. I think I watched it in 2010(?).
