Looking for a movie from the early 90’s that is flashback style where an aged surfer is telling some kind of epic story to younger surfers, he was in love with and marries a girl that becomes a high ranking policewoman. There’s a scene at the end where he leaves the water and she’s standing on the beach waiting for him. Cannot remember the actors names just that final scene. Thanks.
